Guide to your IGL Google Sheet
The first tab “SONGS” is where you enter song info. The other tabs are for the system to log stats for you.
Columns A to F are mandatory. Columns G to L pertain to offering a download for sale. For accounts that have selling turned on (requires upgrade to Pro or Ultra), any of your songs can lead to a purchase by filling in those columns.
COLUMN NAME | WHAT IT’S ABOUT | |
A | song title | appears on the disc’s label, and in the heading above the turntable. |
B | artist | appears on the disc’s label, and in the heading above the turntable. |
C | song jukebox mp3 | the very important mp3 .. should be a https link. copy paste from DropBox |
D | song blurb, lyrics | credits and or notes or lyrics.. use “Alt-Enter” to enter a new line in the sheet. |
E | song cover jpg | must be a https url . copy and paste from DropBox. file should be web-friendly < 300 KB .jpg |
F | active | Important – set this to ‘yes’ if you want the song to appear in your catalog |
G | purchase Link | optional. the File to download after purchase. should be mp3 or a zip (if selling the song itself, just copy Column C ) |
H | purchase Price | if selling, what fans will pay for the download. no dollar signs. |
I | purchase What | if selling, what is it for sale — the song itself or an album ? |
J | purchase Desc | if selling, give more description of what the download gets the fan. use “Alt-Enter” to enter a new line in the sheet. |
K | purchase photo jpg | if selling, must be a https url . copy and paste from DropBox. file should be web-friendly < 300 KB .jpg (if selling the song itself, just copy Column E ) |
L | purchase Title | if selling, the title. (if same as song, just copy Column A ) |
