“I Can’t Hear So Well” is a comical song in which the singer pretends to be impaired so that he has excuses to be near the person of attraction. He openly admits he is shy, and doesn’t want to seem aggressive; thus, he is left to put on a ruse, and hopes she joins in. A song influenced by The Beach Boys and old songs like Do The Twist.
